“We had such a great weekend at Hawks Barn. The barn was stylish yet cosy and super clean. And perfectly located (a short walk down the lane) for the start of the 3 peaks walk. Tilly was friendly and kindly provided extra outdoor furniture so we could sit in a sunny spot on our first evening – the main outdoor space gets the morning sun. There were also a lovely bottle of wine and choc treats. After our big walk the barn and its comfy beds were the perfect place to return to. I loved the setting – a view of Pen-y-Ghent from the door and the sound of lambs and birds. It all made for a really special weekend with my 2 sisters and Dad”.

“I stayed at the barn with two friends last night and it was the perfect base for the Yorkshire 3 Peaks. The location couldn’t have been better! just a short walk to the start of the trail and to the local pub, The Crown, in Horton-in-Ribblesdale. The cottage itself was clean, spacious and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Highly recommended for anyone looking to explore the area!.”

“Tilly described climbing Whernside above the fog to find the sun, and it worked! Amazing stay, travelling from Horton in Ribblesdale station and on foot locally. Two more peaks to do next time. Thank you for all the extra touches, wine, shower gel and milk! Beautiful accommodation.”

“We booked this accommodation as we were three ladies taking on the 3 peaks challenge and it was perfect for us. The space was warm and cozy with all we needed. A well stocked kitchen, comfy beds, lots of hot water and two fridges! We would have loved to have been able to stay longer and really enjoy the accommodation so we will have to return! Everything was lovely and just as we needed to rest tired legs after a wonderful days walking.”

A great location, perfect for walking and visiting the local businesses, The Cheese Shop,the Game Cock Inn and the toy and sweet shop in Settle. We hope to be back soon!”

“We loved our stay, its truly a gem in Horton-in-Ribblesdale. Special shoutout to the huge cafetière and filter coffee which was very much appreciated and enjoyed by all of us. We found the barn was a great place for the 8 of us to chill out, Tilly was proactive about getting us some more deck chairs to enjoy the rare Dales sunshine, and its only a short walk into Horton to have a drink in the pub or skip stones in the river.”
